L’Artisan Pastellier is french ink / calligraphy materials producers. They offer two lines of inks suitable for fountain pens: Callifolio (inks made for fountain pens, neutral PH and so on) and Encres Classiques.
L’Artisan Pastellier inks don’t get much love or attention here. I understand this as they’re not easily obtainable. You may buy them directly from the producer’s on-line/stationery boutique.
L’Artisan Pastellier inks cab be bought in nice triangular glass bottles (40 ml), packs alu (60 ml) and small bottles (30 ml).
Olivastre is one of two new colors in Callifolio line of 36 inks. It’s also my personal favourite. Olivastre is one of more saturated colors in the line. It’s not subdued but it’s not vibrant. In very wet pen (as my Kaweco Classic Sport turned to eyedropper) the line will be juicy and heavy, in pens with moderate flow the color will still look nicely saturated but brighter. The ink behaves very well – it doesn’t clogue the pen, it won’t cause any feathering or bleedthrough. The flow is good enough to enjoy the writing. Lubrication? Well, it can’t compare to Sailor inks, but the level of lubrication is satisfying.

I like this ink a lot, nice colour, but I feel like I still need to find the right pen for it. No, it’s not as nice as Tokiwa-matsu, but it’s also less than half the price if bought in pouch form.
I think in these pouches, Callifolio are the cheapest inks on the market. That the colours are different and beautiful is a bonus 🙂

I agree. It’s not nicest green around but it holds a lot of appeal to me.
