Manufacturers since 1864, Diamine Inks relocated to this purpose built ‘state of the art’ factory in Liverpool in 1925, where they successfully carried on using the traditional methods and formulas for ink production. Over the years the company has changed hands and are now located close to the world famous Aintree Race Course
Diamine Mediterranean Blue was, I believe, my fourth ink ever. While my taste in colors shifted toward deep purples, murky greens and earthy browns I have a sentiment toward this ink. I have little use for it at the moment but if you enjoy the color be assured it’s very nice and well behaved ink. No feathering, no bleedthrough, generous flow and nice shading. Also the price is very reasonable.
