Delta Pens is a Southern Italian company established in 1982 wthrough partnership of three Italian’s (Nino Marino, Ciro Matrone and Mario Muscente) who managed to create rather well known pen company in a short period of time.
Apart from fountain pens and leather goods company offers inks. I’m not sure who makes Delta inks but I doubt it’s made in-house.
At the moment Delta offers
- Blu (Blue)
- Carminio
- Giallo (Yellow – orange)
- Nero (Black)
- Rosso (Red)
- Seppia (Brown)
- Turchese (Turquoise)
- Verde (Green)
Aurora’s Black was added to Aurora pen that I’ve bought. The ink is surprisingly wet (the way J. Herbin’s Perle Noire is) and isn’t really black. It has stealth quality to it. It may cause bleedthrough on cheaper papers but apart from that it behaves very well. I think that Black ink afficionado’s will enjoy this one.
